Leading microelectronics and silicon wafer company SkyWater Technology needed a digital twin of their factory, and contracted the VARLab to develop it. This digital twin enables SkyWater to explore multiple approaches to improving manufacturing efficiency. The VARLab built a data visualization dashboard that seamlessly presents real-time factory floor metrics, simplifying decision-making. The backend features a macro simulation of a wafer metrology facility, modeling the creation and movement of silicon wafers and feeding the data to the frontend. This project is part of a broader intra-lab initiative to integrate AI-driven optimization, real-time data analysis, and simulation to enhance manufacturing performance.
